Energy Therapy Basics Human energy is transferred from one person to another constantly in our everyday lives. In everything from hugs, smiles, kind words to massage, nursing and in many facets of our lives, we see this sharing of positive energy. Imagine if you could take that energy, focus and enhance it, and use it to change people’s lives for the better and to help them on their healing path? This class will show you how. Join instructor Melissa Scianna for this 4-week class where we will explore the Basics of Energy Therapy, different practices using energy and how to incorporate more energy therapy into your life or career. We will discuss: 1. The basics - what is energy therapy? How does energy flow through our bodies? How does energy impact our lives? 2. Practices using energy including Reiki, Quantum touch, Reflexology and others. 3. What energy therapy practices work for you? 4. How to incorporate your specific talents into a practice that is uniquely yours and produces the best results. 5. Exercises to help you recognize and become familiar with your own energy and how to use it to help others. 6. What does a specific energy session look like from beginning to end? 7. Distance energy therapy - do you have to be in the same room? 8. Working with clients - what to expect emotionally, physically, spiritually. Student participation is key to learning and is encouraged. All students will receive PDF materials prior to each class which will include a weekly exercise or review. Students who attend all four classes (or who review the recorded Zoom class) will receive a Certificate of Completion for the "Energy Therapy Basics" course from The Rocky Mountain Academy of Energetic Arts.
