Intro to Astrology: Part 2

Class Description

This four-week course builds on Intro to Astrology: Part 1. It’s for anyone with a basic understanding of the elements, signs and houses, who’d like to learn more about the planets in an astrology chart. In this four-week course you will learn about: • Your core self: The role of the Sun and how it expresses itself by sign and house • Your personality and image: The role of the Ascendant and how it expresses itself by sign • Your emotional driver: The role of the Moon and how it expresses itself by sign and house • Your communication, relationship and energy styles (Mercury, Venus and Mars) • Plus an introduction to the roles of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto Called “poetess to the stars,” Kathy is known for her wit, pattern recognition and ability to translate technical concepts into ordinary language. She has been demystifying astrology for mainstream audiences since writing a column about it for her high school newspaper in Southern Baptist territory (and, somehow, not being called to the principal’s office for it). A professional astrologer with more than 35 years experience, she has taught private classes and given presentations to astrological organizations, libraries, bookstores, churches, exposw and institutes across the country. She has also taught business law at Rice University and legal writing at The University of Houston Law Center. Her forecasts appear at EmpowermentUnlimited.net, the Professional Aquarian YouTube channel, and OMTimes.com. She contributed the chapter on astrology to Your Guide to Self-Discovery (Llewelln Worldwide 2023). She won Best Astrologer in the OMTimes Media 2022 Ommie Awards, as well as a Community Award for her OMTimes Media show Celestial Compass. Students who attend all four classes (or who review the recorded Zoom class) will receive a Certificate of Completion for the "Intro to Astrology: Part 2" course from The Rocky Mountain Academy of Energetic Arts.
